Kissing is the touch or pressing of a person's lips against another person. The act can take on a wide variety of connotations such as: love, passion, respect, greeting, friendship, respect, as part of a ritual, and more. Kisses can be strong and very heated when backed by strong desire. Kissing with an open mouth, to allow the other to suck their lips or move their tongue into their mouth, is called French kissing and is often an adolescent's first experience of their sexuality.
